Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data systems to support business growth and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines using Python and SQL/PLSQL, ensuring efficient data processing and storage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data models, architectures, and technologies that meet business needs.
- Optimize database performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing tuning strategies.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools like Informatica, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced SQL/PLSQL knowledge and proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience working with Unix scripting and scheduling tools.
- Strong data modeling skills and experience with dimensional or data vault models.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
