Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months (Possible extension)
Job Summary:
Seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong Java background to manage release processes, develop and maintain deployment workflows, and ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, and security. This role involves integrating new technologies and providing L3 support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Release Management: Coordinate release processes, including task collection, assessments, approvals, and execution.
- Development & Deployment: Automate deployment tasks, maintain build processes, and optimize cloud environments.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain stability and security of infrastructure components, especially in cloud environments.
- Cybersecurity: Monitor and resolve security issues, proposing preventive solutions.
- Integration: Develop integration POCs to assess new technologies and methodologies.
Technical Expertise:
- Java, Maven, Spring Boot (4 years)
- Linux (RHEL7 ), Bash scripting (4 years)
- RedHat OpenShift (3 years)
- DevOps tools: TeamCity, Autosys, Jenkins, uDeploy (3 years)
- JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, ServiceNow (2 years)
