What are the responsibilities and job description for the Documentation Specialist position at Dexian?
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform research utilizing internal applications to identify Loan details, log Deal requests and its document information into a tracker, index the document images to the appropriate document title and capture required metadata from the legal documents into the system of record application.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform Document Review of Wholesale Loans legal agreements and its supporting documentation to ensure it meets requirements of acceptability.
· Enter Loan and Document details into a tracker and cite discrepancies and exceptions and communicate with the submitters to close them out.
· Capture the image and its associated metadata to the correct document title into our document repository with deadline.
· Perform research as requested.
· Work closely with internal colleagues and other team members to maximize performance of work tools and other client onboarding initiatives.
· Generate and/or maintain various reports including MIS reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have
· 3 years of experience in Financial Services, Corporate, or Legal/Law Firm environment
- Experience as a Contract Associate or Paralegal
· Hands-on experience with corporate documentation, terminology, and/or legal concepts and procedure
· Bachelor’s Degree required
Nice-To-Have
· Paralegal Certificate preferred
