Job Title: Associate Commercial Escrow Assistant
Duration: 4 months
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204
Pay Rate: $20 - $26 per hour
Job Description:
The Associate Commercial Escrow Assistant will provide support to the Commercial Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings. This role involves performing secretarial and clerical tasks to facilitate the collection of necessary information and handling of funds for escrow transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing escrow processes for large commercial transactions.
- Answer phone calls, greet customers, and handle inquiries related to escrow closings.
- Process opening orders, set up initial files, and manage deposits and fund distributions.
- Prepare and transmit documents and funds, handle reconveyances, and perform pre-closing and post-closing follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with escrow procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience dealing with the general public or working in an office environment (minimum of one year)
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
