DESCRIPTION
We are seeking candidates with strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills to support NAV production for Mutual Fund clients. As a Fund Accounting Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse team responsible for ensuring high-quality Net Asset Value (NAV) delivery. You will collaborate within a global network of operational teams, providing oversight and support for daily production, with a focus on accurate and timely NAV delivery. Fund Accounting Operations offers a hybrid working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce accurate and timely NAVs.
- Perform daily oversight and quality assurance functions in a global operating environment through the use of workflow and exception-based accounting tools.
- Ensure all scheduled work is completed by agreed deadlines, with proper evidence and documentation as mandated by corporate policy, regulatory reviews, and internal audit.
- Ensure compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies.
- Work closely with internal new business and operational readiness teams through the onboarding process of new client mandates.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of your client base, prospectus, and documentation.
- Identify efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have:
- 2-4 years of experience in Fund Accounting Operations or Fund Services.
- Experience performing reconciliation of high-volume transactions.
- Expert use of MS Office (Excel: VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Thorough understanding of the theoretical and technical nature of Mutual Fund Accounting / Administration, including basic accounting principles and theories.
- Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast-paced global operating environment and matrix management organizations to deliver results.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred).
