Industrial Designer
We are seeking a creative and innovative Industrial Designer to join our team. As an Industrial Designer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating aesthetically pleasing, functional, and marketable products that enhance the retail experience for our customers and employ emerging technologies that add functionality and value. This role's main objective will be to successfully develop / launch new products that incrementally increase our revenue. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Business Insights, Product Development, Engineering, and manufacturing operations to bring concepts to fruition. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail trends, consumer behavior, and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities :
- Create new revenue streams through designing solutions for our customers.
- Conceptualize and co-develop innovative product designs that align with the brand identity and target market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, including marketing objectives, budget constraints, and technical specifications.
- Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends to inform design decisions.
- Develop partnerships with industry leaders in emerging technologies to expand and augment our product offerings.
- Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and market research.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure new designs hit intended objectives.
- Ensure designs comply with regulatory standards and specifications.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to oversee the production process and resolve any design-related issues.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and design tools to enhance efficiency and creativity.
