Duration- 12 month contract.
Job Description:
We are seeking an IT Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Fletcher, NC. This role involves supporting IT operations in a manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of a site lead and receive tasks via an Answers queue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support for manufacturing operations, including networking, MDOS, and shop floor triage.
- Troubleshoot and maintain computers, handheld devices, and tablets.
- Assist in managing and maintaining wireless networking systems.
- Collaborate with team members to address technical issues and minimize downtime.
- Document all issues, solutions, and system changes accurately.
Qualifications:
- Basic IT skills with a strong willingness to learn.
- IT experience preferred; certifications are not required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
- Reliable transportation for occasional travel to nearby warehouses.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with networking, MDOS, and shop floor IT systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
