Lead Business Analyst

Job Title: Lead Business Analyst - Contractor

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Pay Range: $50-$55/hr.

Duration: 5 months with potential for extension or conversion to full-time.

Shift: M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm

Summary:

The Business Analytics Lead will play a critical role within the retail lending division, focusing on data solutions and delivery. The position requires a combination of business acumen, technical knowledge, and process management skills to manage data requests, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Intake and Prioritization:
• Assess incoming data requests and create daily review reports.
• Use prioritization frameworks to align new demands with strategic goals.
• Facilitate requirement gathering and scope definition for business impacts and outcomes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with domain owners, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and synergy across business units.
• Engage with downstream users and IT to triage and resolve issues.
• Project Coordination:
• Manage backlog prioritization in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
• Support enterprise-level rollouts, including New Renaissance and Symphony credit card processes.
• Coordinate with teams handling Data Product Implementation, Production Management, Tools & Platform, and Special Projects.
• Process Improvement:
• Establish frameworks, controls, and best practices for managing work streams.
• Align initiatives with long-term organizational strategies and budget planning.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Develop comprehensive reports and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for best practices in data quality (DQ) requirements.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Understanding of financial reporting and data quality standards.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across different levels of the organization.
• Assertive and adaptable team player.

Preferred Experience:

• 7-8 years in analytics, data management, or related fields.
• Background in finance or banking is highly desirable.

Certifications:

• PMP certification or HR certifications are a plus.
