A large financial institution is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies. This role requires expertise in third-party risk, regulatory compliance, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience working with executive leadership, developing reports, and utilizing data analytics to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and evaluate operational risks to ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and control frameworks.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret complex regulatory documents to assess their impact on supply chain management and third-party risk.
- Create and present risk reports and templates for executive leadership, ensuring effective communication of key findings.
- Utilize PowerPoint to develop executive-level presentations and Excel/Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
- Engage with stakeholders across various lines of business (LOBs) to provide risk insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Enhance monitoring processes and design operational improvements to align with regulatory compliance requirements.
- Keep abreast of local, national, and international regulatory changes impacting third-party risk management.
- Leverage data analytics to track, assess, and address compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive experience in operational risk management, regulatory compliance, and third-party risk assessment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess their operational impact.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint (creating executive reports and templates), Excel (data analysis), and Tableau (dashboard navigation).
- Knowledge of risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and control processes.
- Experience monitoring regulatory changes and implementing process improvements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and executive leadership, translating technical risk data into layman's terms.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
