Job Description:
The Patient Experience Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring that patients have a positive experience with our organization's services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinates patient care services, including billing and coding support, claims assistance, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits.
- Communicates effectively with patients, providers, and caregivers to resolve complex issues and improve access to healthcare services.
- Maintains accurate records and reports, including tracking and submitting claims, appeals and denials.
- Establishes relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve patient experience and outcomes.
- Performs related duties as assigned, including benefit verifications and patient assistance program determinations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of four years directly related experience in customer service, medical billing, and coding, or similar vocations.
