Location – San Diego, CA preferred, But open to California and west coast locations as well.

Duration – 1 Year

Payrate - $37 - $45/hr on w2.

Job Description:

As a Project Manager in our tech and SEO space, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our projects run smoothly from start to finish. Your ability to manage diverse teams, track progress, and ensure we’re meeting key goals will be crucial in driving the success of our technical initiatives. While experience in SEO is a plus, the main focus is on project management with an understanding of SEO principles, and you'll work closely with Engineering, Content, and other teams to deliver projects that make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and track progress of cross-functional projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
• Be the go-to person for project tracking and documentation; take detailed notes during meetings and provide clear action items.
• Work closely with SEO specialists, developers, and content teams, driving the successful delivery of projects that align with SEO best practices.
• Interface with stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are on track by using tools like Smartsheet, G-Suite, MS Office, and Slack for communication and documentation.
• Apply your strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects, making decisions on trade-offs and sequencing when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Help identify issues, solve problems, and ensure quality results throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure best practices are followed in terms of project management and tracking, maintaining a high level of detail and organization.

What You’ll Bring:

• 4-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the tech field, including exposure to SEO-related projects.
• A proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects across engineering, content, and marketing teams.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and G-Suite, with Slack being preferred.
• A strong understanding of SEO principles, particularly technical SEO, content marketing, and link optimization.
• Experience working with technical teams on projects related to PHP, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Outstanding organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to managing projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to handle pressure while balancing multiple projects, and the drive to maintain focus on delivering results.
• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Have:

• Awareness or experience with SEO tools (e.g., G-Search Console, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
• Experience with product management or leading product roadmaps is a plus.
