Position Overview:

The Banker Position (Floater) is responsible for providing operational and customer service support across multiple branches, including Santa Monica, Westwood, Long Beach, Calabasas, and Pasadena. Depending on experience, the role may be designated as Client Service Representative II, III, or Senior CSR III. This position requires travel to assigned branches and offers a dynamic opportunity to assist in daily operations, open new accounts, and maintain exemplary client relations.

Responsibilities by Level:

Senior New Accounts/CSR III (Floater):

• Open and manage new consumer and complex business accounts.
• Process account transactions, assist clients with financial services, and cross-sell bank products.
• Promote business growth by building strong client relationships and referring customers to appropriate partners.
• Ensure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.
• Travel between designated branches as required.

New Accounts/CSR III (Floater):

• Open new consumer and basic business accounts with expertise.
• Handle account maintenance and service inquiries, promoting bank products and services.
• Support operational tasks and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Travel between branches to support operations as needed.

New Accounts/CSR II (Floater):

• Open new consumer accounts and provide client assistance.
• Maintain and close various account types while actively cross-selling bank products.
• Provide courteous, professional service and maintain compliance with all regulations.
• Travel between branches to fulfill operational and customer service needs.

Qualifications by Level:

Senior New Accounts/CSR III (Floater):

• Minimum of 3 years of banking teller experience.
• Advanced experience with opening consumer and complex business accounts.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking applications.
• Knowledge of banking regulations such as BSA and Information Security.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

New Accounts/CSR III (Floater):

• Minimum of 2 years of banking teller experience.
• Experience with opening consumer and basic business accounts.
• Excellent judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking applications.
• Familiarity with basic banking regulations such as BSA and Information Security.

New Accounts/CSR II (Floater):

• Minimum of 1 year of banking teller experience.
• Beginner-level experience with opening consumer accounts (experience with business accounts preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking applications.

Essential Duties for All Levels:

• Conduct client interviews to recommend appropriate banking products.
• Actively cross-sell bank products and services, ensuring solutions meet client needs.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Process teller transactions and maintain accurate balancing records.
• Provide exemplary customer service and proactively resolve client issues.
• Consistently model professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by branch management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Senior CSR III (Floater): May provide supervisor-level overrides, assist with large transactions, and handle escalated client situations in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• CSR II & III (Floater): No supervisory responsibilities.
