Job Requirements
This role requires the ability to assemble parts, pieces, and components in a sequential process using an array of tools and equipment. The assembler must inspect each section as they are completed to ensure they meet specifications, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality in all products.
Key Responsibilities:
- FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND QUALITY STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES
- REVIEW WORK ORDER INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE EACH PROJECT
- POSITION PARTS AND COMPONENTS BY USING TEMPLATES OR READING MEASUREMENTS
- ASSEMBLE EACH PRODUCT ACCORDING TO WORK ORDER SPECIFICATIONS
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior assembly experience, preferably in a metal manufacturer. You should also be proficient with a variety of manual tools, power tools, and tape measures. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions
You will be working in a manufacturing facility where you may be exposed to vibration from tools, noise from pneumatic tools, forklift traffic, high noise levels in some areas, dust, dirt, and grease throughout the facility, exposure to outdoor elements, and high heat levels several months of the year.
Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and perform repetitive motion type tasks regularly. You will also need to be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and endure heat in a manufacturing facility that is not climate-controlled.
