The successful candidate will assist the Branch Manager with various tasks including:
- Managing pick ticket printing and dispatch documents to the warehouse.
- Answering incoming calls, dispatching calls appropriately or entering orders when able.
- Conducting pick ticket audits to verify quantity and process invoices.
- Coordinating communication between branch staff to inform of errors, add-ons, or changes to existing orders.
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail/faxes and preparing outgoing mail/faxes.
- Printing and distributing invoices for truck runs, common carriers, UPS, and other delivery companies.
- Compiling, sorting, and filing all branch paperwork.
- Making bank deposits and post office trips as directed by the BM.
- Preparing driver miles and drops information weekly.
- Maintaining customer files.
- Maximizing office productivity through proficient use of software applications.
- Ordering non-inventory supplies using established work practices.
