TWA Assembler 1 We are seeking an experienced TWA Assembler 1 at our manufacturing facility located in Cooper, TX. Dexter is a premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets.
Overview: Contributes to the production of finished products by assembling parts, pieces, and components in a sequential process using an array of tools and equipment. The assembler must inspect each section as they are completed to ensure they meet specifications, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality in all products.
Essential functions:
Qualifications and Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior assembly experience preferred in a metal manufacturer. Knowledge of hand tools and some manufacturing equipment. Proficient with a variety of manual tools, power tools, and tape measures.

- Review work order instructions before each project.
- Positions parts and components by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assemble each product according to work order specifications.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet quality standards.
- Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly.
- Complete required quality and production forms.
- Maintain inventory of necessary product in your workstation.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts as stated on work order instructions.
- Resolves assembly problems to meet specifications or notify supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
