Duties
- Supervise and train teller staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage daily cash operations, including cash handling, balancing drawers, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and upselling bank products.
- Monitor transactions for potential fraud detection and prevention, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize financial software for transaction processing and reporting.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment while promoting teamwork among staff.
- Conduct regular audits of cash management processes to ensure accuracy and security.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a retail banking environment or similar financial institution.
- Strong cash handling skills with a solid understanding of retail math and financial transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build customer relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in using financial software and technology related to banking operations.
- Familiarity with fraud prevention detection techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for transaction processing.
- Strong sales aptitude with experience in upselling products or services.
