JOB DESCRIPTION
- Process material according to the work order specifications; ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- Must know how to use a tape measure and be able to read a technical drawing and follow work instructions.
- Candidates must have a good work and attendance history, a safety-first attitude, good communication skills, and have the flexibility to work overtime. Prior machine operation experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Candidates must be dependable, must be able to read work instructions and other work documents provided in English; must be able to write production and quality information, must understand verbal instructions; be detail-oriented, safety conscious, and have the ability to work well with others.
- Must possess a good attendance history. Must have a good safety record, possess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail oriented.
- Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Correct tools for proper execution of the work.
- Must be proficient in understanding mechanical drawings.
- While in the workplace, responsible for both quality and safety.
- Review quality documents as required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers andmanagement. Continue to grow knowledge and use tools to identify and assist with Continuous Improvement. Individual must be thorough and punctual.
EDUCATION:
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of work experience, including at least one year performing the same or similar job function; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
