Job Summary:
The High School Spanish Teacher is responsible for creating an engaging and effective learning environment that fosters students' proficiency in the Spanish language. This includes developing and delivering lessons on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, writing, and cultural awareness. The teacher will assess student progress, provide individualized support, and promote a positive classroom atmosphere. Collaboration with other educators and participation in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or cultural events, may also be expected.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.
- Must have an endorsement of (FF) Spanish and Secondary certified.
- Must be highly qualified to teach Spanish.
- Responsibility of employee to obtain and maintain all training(s), certificate(s), approval(s), etc. and provide documentation to the Human Resource office before expiration date of said document(s).
