The Customer Service Representative provides administrative support functions to the customer service call center, account managers, and management with exceptional customer service to all Dexter customers. Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to requests from customers by phone or e-mail and manages their daily workload to ensure required service volume and quality levels are attained, in a high transactional environment.
- Receives and processes orders, providing information concerning changes in pricing, service, and shipping.
- Resolve difficult calls and situations as necessary.
- Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and helps create solutions.
- Handling and resolving customer complaints or special orders.
- Refers complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
- Prepares cash log and submits checks to corporate banking institute.
- Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.
- Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.
- 4 years’ work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must have experience with ERP software or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills. High attention to detail; ability to deliver high quality, timely, and accurate work.
- Demonstrated understanding of providing exceptional customer service.
- Be safety conscious and work well with others and individually.
- Ability to please customers and solve their problems while still making the best decisions for the company.
