We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Analyst to support critical financial functions, drive operational efficiency, and ensure accuracy across our financial operations. This role involves tasks such as invoice reconciliation, data management, monthly reporting, billing processes, and incentive and commission payment processing. You will collaborate closely with teams in Finance, Sales, and Operations to support strategic decision-making, streamline billing processes, and enhance analytics capabilities by delivering essential reports and insights that drive ongoing business improvements.
What You Will Do:
- Perform thorough reconciliation of invoices, bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Gather, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to support financial reporting and operational insights.
- Create and distribute monthly financial reports to relevant stakeholders, ensuring the data is accurate and actionable.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business needs, providing insights that support strategic and operational decisions.
- Review and compare statements from different payment credit card processors.
- Assist with monthly residual reconciliation and partner payouts
- Perform billing and support pricing analysis to ensure that processes align with company policies.
- Calculate, verify, and process incentive and commission payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve analytics processes, maintain documentation, and support scalable reporting structures
Experience You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in financial operations, analytics, or a similar role within a payments (acquiring) company.
- Experience in invoice reconciliation and financial data analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data manipulation and transformation.
- Experience with Fiserv, EPS, or related payment processing systems.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of providing actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
- Experience in dashboard/report building to create user-friendly and visually informative financial reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Understanding of interchange costs and fees associated with various card brands (not required but helpful)
