Job Description
Job Summary
The Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor manages all aspects of housekeeping and laundry services at the CMI customer site located in Emmitsburg, MD. This is a 6-day work week which includes Saturday or Sunday but does not exceed 40 hours per week.
Key Job Functions
- Provide supervision, management, and training in support of the customer for housekeeping, janitorial and laundry services.
- Oversee and confirm the proper cleaning of all buildings and rooms based on customer standards and requirements.
- Responsible for overseeing the proper execution of standard floor services : floor care, ADP / Data center floors, asphalt floors, granite and marble floors, loading dock floors, stripping floors, finishing floors, sealing floors, wood floors
- Responsible for overseeing the proper execution of Carpet and Rug services : extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, floor mats and runners
- Ensure proper cleaning and quality control checks for all dormitory rooms, restrooms, shower rooms, break rooms, kitchenettes, locker rooms and surfaces, walls, high cleaning, dusting, trash and wastebaskets, recyclables, elevators, stairways and handicap ramps.
- Ensure proper cleaning and quality control checks of plate glass cleaning, window washing, blinds and coverings cleaning, exterior glass cleaning
- Oversee and monitor cleaning of all metal and glazed surfaces, vinyl surfaces of exercise equipment, exercise mats, and shower curtains surfaces in the fitness center in Building H.
- Responsible for all linen and laundry services compliance as required by the contract for all 426 dorm rooms.
- If required, responsible for removal of graffiti and excrement removal.
- Ensure that custodial and related services are provided in a manner as to utilize industry best practices and guiding principles to minimize the Government's Environmental Footprint.
