Job Description
Job Summary
The Quality & Environmental Control Manager is responsible for drafting and monitoring the Quality Control Plan and for the performance of all work impacting the environment at CMI’s customer sites in the Tucson, AZ and Yuma, AZ regions.
Key Job Functions
- Responsible for providing the client with compliant supplies and services
- Partners with the client regarding the administration of the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan
- Oversee and supervise quality control technician staff
- Work with staff to perform the necessary Quality Control inspections.
- Responsible for tracking, documentation and disposal of hazardous waste produced while performing preventive maintenance
- Identify when new or revised permits are needed
- Manage the Certifications and Permits program as required by the contract
Qualifications
- At least, five (5) years of experience in leadership positions including management of quality control inspectors on contracts with multiple locations (30 ) spread across a wide geographic area.
- Six Sigma Green certification or an ISO 9001 certification is preferred
