PTW Architects is hiring a design architect to join its team in Shanghai or Beijing.
PTW Architects have won several exciting projects and we now have an opportunity for an ambitious design architect with strong leadership skills to join our Shanghai and Beijing studio and grow their career further.
About the role
You will work closely with the Project Director on concept design and lead a team to develop the design vision from concept to DA, DD and CD through to construction. The projects vary in scale, complexity and location, and span across sectors such as multi-residential, mixed-use, commercial, and hospitality. You enjoy working in a highly collaborative and creative team environment.
About you
Ideally you will bring the following skills, attributes and experience :
- Outstanding design portfolio showcasing your experience with complex multi-residential and mixed-use projects.
- Excellent design thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Confident in presenting design and articulating design decisions to the client.
- Strong leadership skills – confident in running projects, leading a team, and building relationships with clients.
- Equally experienced in design and delivery phases of projects.
- Comfortable to work across a diverse range of projects and sectors.
- Five to ten years’ postgraduate design experience (M. Arch).
- Skilled in Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape, and Revit.
