SUMMARY
The Marketing Assistant will support the Assistant Marketing Manager in executing marketing campaigns, managing content schedules, and assisting with graphic design tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and eager to contribute to the overall success of marketing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Manage and update the content calendar to ensure timely publication of marketing materials.
- Coordinate social media postings, promotions, and engagement alongside the social media team.
- Support email marketing efforts, including content creation, scheduling, and reporting.
- Assist with writing and proofreading marketing materials, press releases, and digital content.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, compiling reports for the team.
- Work closely with the Assistant Marketing Manager to maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
- Help coordinate photoshoots, video shoots, and marketing events as needed.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as organizing files, updating databases, and processing invoices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing projects.
- Create and edit basic graphic design elements for social media, email marketing, and promotional materials.
- Support the Assistant Graphic Designer with minor design adjustments and content formatting as needed.
Qualifications
JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
- Experience in social media management, email marketing, or content creation is a plus.
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Prior experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.

Working Conditions:
- The role requires flexibility, with some evening and weekend work to accommodate client needs and events.
- Travel is required for sales meetings, trade shows, conferences, and client visits, both nationally and internationally.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required including working weekends, holidays &hours exceeding 40
- Ability to walk long distance is required
