Description
The POS Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling sales transactions at the point of sale terminal. This role ensures that guests have a positive experience through friendly service, accurate order processing, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service through a variety of mediums
- Assist in Sales efforts with Sales and Marketing team
- Assist with any duties assigned by management
- Efficiently respond to phone calls, emails and walk in guests in a timely manner
- Give breaks to team-members when needed
- Meet with interested guests for showings or VIP tours
- Receive and process payments and other cash handling duties as necessary
- Ensure proper organization of any paperwork
- Sell attractions passes using a Point-of-Sale system
- Resolve guest concerns, and/or pass along to management depending on the situation
- Meet regularly with Management and team members to discuss ways in which to improve operations
- Perform Park opening and closing procedures, including bank out of cash drawers. wristbands
- Assist facility staff with emergency and medical response, or be the point person in the absence of management
- Enter data and make modifications through MS Office Suite
- Will assist with events (car shows, banquets, special events) when called upon
- Assist in maintaining park cleanliness and sanitization
- Teach and coach team members on a ongoing basis
- Enforce city and Dezerland Park Orlando policies
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Applicant must be at last 18 years of age
- Applicant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Applicant must have a valid Driver's License and a "safe" driving record
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Experience coordinating rentals and/or events
- Minimum availability of 4 weekdays per week; must be available to work a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is required
