Dezine News Accessories (DNA) is a distinguished fashion design & wholesale company that supplies the nation’s leading retailers with private label fashion accessories. We take trends from runway to retail, products from concept to creation and provide a tailored buying experience inspired by our customers.

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Manager to be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the manufacturing process, ensuring smooth management of orders, managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, and optimizing production efficiency to meet company goals and customer requirements. This role involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

Essential Functions/Duties

Manage daily management of production orders for factories ensuring smooth and accurate order passing for to-time production. Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure accuracy of all orders.

Oversee the collection and review of approval, pre-production and top of production samples to ensure quality and specifications are met. Provide factories directly with all sample approval/rejections with deadlines of corrections.

Prepare regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) summarizing production progress, identifying any timeline deviations, and suggesting corrective actions to maintain deadlines.

Drive solutions to production issues or delays in collaboration with internal teams and external overseas partners, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.

Oversee and ensure proper execution of testing requirements for every order within acceptable production timelines, delegate testing tasks to overseas teams, manage and resolve any testing failures, ensure testing protocols are followed, documented and meeting customer requirements.

Follow up on packaging timelines, samples and approvals to ensure timely production.

Monitors the progress of various projects, ensuring timely completion and resolving any issues or delays as they arise.

Initiate, review, and approve packing specifications for all orders, ensuring they meet customer requirements, including standardization of packing specs when applicable.

Build and maintain strong relationships internally and key suppliers to ensure clear communication, problem resolution, and continuous improvement in production processes.

Develop optimal operational processes by identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements and coordinate execution.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of new product launches and ongoing production.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, supply chain, design or other closely related degree.
  • 4 years’ production management, tech pack review, preferably in the manufacturing or fashion industry.
  • Strong understanding of accessories or apparel manufacturing processes, technical design, with knowledge of construction methods.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal teams, but especially overseas partners, ensuring clear, timely, and accurate exchange of information.
  • Works well in a team environment, sharing knowledge, contributes ideas, and supports colleagues in achieving individual and collective goals.
  • Proactive, results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates a record of process improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is preferred. Demonstrated ability to leverage Excel and other Microsoft applications for effective data analysis, reporting, and process optimization
  • Certifications in production management or quality control are a plus.
  • Potential travel 10 - 15% domestic and international travel subject to business needs.
  • A basic understanding of Mandarin and the ability to communicate effectively at a conversational level is a plus.

Pay: $85,212.00 - $91,320.00 per year
