Warehouse Inventory Specialist
Job Type: Full Time / Regular
Hours: 9AM – 6PM
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our team. This key role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, performing put-aways, relocating inventory, and ensuring efficient inventory replenishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in data analysis, be proficient in the use of RF scanners, forklifts, turret trucks, and be highly organized to maintain aisle integrity and optimize warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory put-aways and ensure inventory is placed in correct storage locations.
- Relocate inventory as needed to ensure proper stocking levels and aisle space.
- Replenish stock as necessary to ensure product availability.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and update system records accurately.
- Perform data analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain aisle organization and ensure safe, clear, and efficient pathways for warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts, turret trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow and meet production goals.
- Provide recommendations for inventory management strategies to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in inventory management and replenishment roles.
- Proficient in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Skilled in operating forklifts and turret trucks (certification preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze inventory data.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with inventory replenishment and aisle maintenance.
- Familiarity with warehouse software and data analysis tools.
- Forklift and turret truck certification.
