DFC Company (Dakota Fence, 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, Town & Country Fence, Dakota Unlimited, West River Striping, SAAFE/Stadium Steve, DFC Property Management) is a growing specialty contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, highway guardrail, fabrication, and commercial playground construction, bleacher installation, as well as traffic control services and pavement marking. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Shift and Time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Summary:
- Scans, names, and organizes invoices and receipts in the company work pool system.
- Assists with receivables by scanning and entering receipts, applying cash to customer accounts, and making deposits.
- Supports sales and use tax assessments and reporting to ensure accurate tax filings.
- Maintains and closes purchase orders.
- Helps process payables, match payments, and support administrative tasks.
- Assists with reconciling company credit cards.
- Acts as a primary backup for Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, and Sales/Use Tax functions.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A two-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college is required. A four-year degree is preferred. Two (2) years of directly related experience is a plus.
