Company Overview: DFC Company (Dakota Fence, 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, Town & Country Fence, Dakota Unlimited, West River Striping, SAAFE/Stadium Steve, DFC Property Management) is a growing specialty contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, highway guardrail, fabrication, and commercial playground construction, bleacher installation, as well as traffic control services and pavement marking. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Shift and Time: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Summary:
- Provide administrative support for DFC Company, including customer service, job creation and administration, purchase orders, invoicing, payables, inventory, and management of office documents and supplies.
- Collaborate with branch manager, headquarters administrative staff, office location managers, project estimators, and coordinators to ensure jobs are created, billed, and executed according to best practices.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, including answering phones and assisting walk-in customers.
- Handle walk-in retail traffic for fence materials, complete invoices for retail sales, take customer payments, and assist customers in loading materials.
- Set up jobs and manage job costing.
- Provide support to the branch manager, including drafting proposals and entering potential projects in the ERP system.
- Manage physical documents.
- Enter and process company payables within the company work pool system.
- Support DFC Company's administrative processes as necessary.
- Manage office supplies.
- Undertake special projects as needed.
- Perform other tasks as defined by the Branch Manager.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: BS or AS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college is desired, but years of pertinent experience will also be considered. Experience with construction ERP systems, including Vista, is a plus.
