The Opportunity: We are seeking a full time Computer Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for the automation software used to ensure the smooth operation of the core and associated systems. Maintain production and test schedules to ensure efficient use of system resources. Proactively resolve problems affecting production and test schedules.
What You’ll Do:
Develop, maintain and monitor automation software.
Work with vendor technical support to resolve problems and suggest possible solutions.
Server administration, as needed.
Manage configuration of exchanging files with external vendors while maintaining security protocols.
Develop, maintain and monitor production and test schedules.
Coordinate and authorize the implementation of program installs.
Assist in the design of programs and projects by recommending criteria needed to optimize resources and minimize conflicts.
Develop, implement, test and maintain programs and scripts for core production system.
Develop and maintain core system operations documentation, ensuring integrity.
Manage packaged and custom software applications.
Investigate and resolve support requests.
Adhere to established security policies and procedures.
Identify, research and analyze core system problems using tools available; provide detailed information and recommend changes in operational procedure.
Participate in disaster recovery testing.
Occasional travel for training, conferences, and disaster recovery or offsite equipment support.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent education and work experience.
Three years’ experience with core systems operations; DNA experience preferred.
Two years’ experience with automation software; AppWorx experience preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of File Transfer protocols.
Excellent interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communications.
Two years’ experience with PC running Windows and Microsoft Office.
Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude.
Ability to work well on own initiative.
On call support 7x24 30-minute response, as required.
Extended duration of computer terminal usage.
