The Opportunity: We are seeking a Risk Management System Specialist to join our team. Ideal for early-career professionals looking to expand their expertise in risk management systems and processes. This role will act as one of the company's internal and external liaisons for DFCU’s enterprise risk management (ERM) system. Identify opportunities for improvements in the risk management processes based on business unit needs. Lead or participate in projects relating to managing DFCU’s risk management system.
What You’ll Do:
Proactively seek, articulate and initiate opportunities for documenting risk and associated controls using selected risk management system modules and resources.
Support projects related to enterprise risk system processes, enhancements, or system updates as assigned.
Facilitate the upkeep of Tandem risk management modules, including vendor management, business continuity planning and risk assessment by coordinating document requests and updating system data.
Use Tandem reports to identify missing information or processes needing remediation within the modules.
Assist in audit requests relating to risk management activities documented within the Tandem system.
Identify and facilitate the review and implementation of new features, functions and/or applications available in the risk management system.
Provide research, problem solving and phone support to risk management system users and complete administrative assignments or specialty projects as assigned.
Maintain subject matter expertise with risk management applications.
Proactively maintain DFCU's relationship with risk management system provider and business units.
Submit, monitor, and track issues in risk management modules with software support teams.
Maintain active involvement in user groups and forums.
Proactively ensure that risk management system information (knowledge bases, procedures, etc.) is up-to-date and accurate.
Recommend process improvements for risk management processes.
