Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide medication management and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer health coaching and education to patients regarding mental health management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Engage with patients in urgent care settings as needed.
- Assist in procedures related to primary care, including the administration of dermal fillers when applicable.
Skills
- Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in primary care techniques and health coaching methodologies.
- Familiarity with systems used in healthcare settings for efficient patient management.
- Ability to work effectively within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
- Experience or knowledge in urgent care practices is preferred.
- Capability to perform sonography as part of comprehensive assessments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to lift patients or assist with mobility as required during care delivery.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology practices may be beneficial for integrated patient care.
