Job Summary
Our private dental practice is seeking an additional highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to contribute to our growing practice. Knowledge in dental insurance is required. You'll will contribute to all things front desk. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients while ensuring that administrative tasks are handled smoothly.
Duties
- Manage patient scheduling in the hygiene and treatment department, including appointments, confirmations, and follow-ups.
- Handle insurance verification using proper ADA codes, frequencies, etc
- Maintain accurate patient records and files within Dentrix and Weave
- Facilitate communication between patients, the hygienists and dentist to enhance patient experience.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to appointments.
- Ensure compliance with all support protocols and regulations.
- Maintain daily operations of the front desk, ensuring a clean and professional environment.
Experience
- 2-years experience in a general dental practice
- Knowledge with insurance verification and hygiene procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Software systems Dentrix and Weave
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
