Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our private dental practice. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including but not limited to cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
- Execute various dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns with precision.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during all procedures.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver exceptional patient care in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using appropriate medical terminology.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and dental fabrication.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices along with specialized skills in endodontics and pediatric dentistry preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using dental software for record keeping and treatment planning is advantageous.
