About the Role

The Home Health Executive Director (Registered Nurse, RN) oversees the administration of the day-to-day operations of the home care provider. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and completing assigned projects to support the company's objectives
• Overseeing patient eligibility and planning home health services
• Implementing administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Enhancing agency profitability and staff retention while maintaining service quality

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A registered nurse license with at least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home healthcare or a related field
• Current CPR certification
• A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation

State-Specific Requirements

In Texas, you must meet the following requirements:

• No felony or misdemeanor convictions listed in Tag 97.601(b)
• May serve as the supervising nurse if meeting specific qualifications
• Evidence of 8 clock hours of educational training in agency administration within the past 12 months
