Responsibilities
- Help manage the back office staff as well as the systems and operations
- Responsible for traveling crates of orthodontic supplies between multiple locations
- Keeps the patient schedule on time by being aware of the daily schedule, working efficiently, and as a member of a cohesive team
- Assists the orthodontist with all assisting duties, including orthodontic procedures, takes x-rays as prescribed
- Maintains cleanliness of treatment rooms and sterilization area, complies with HIPAA, and maintains confidential information
- Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques in managing interpersonal conflict and patient complaints. Is organized, motivated, committed, and self-directed
Qualifications
- 1 year of previous orthodontic lead experience
- In-depth knowledge of all orthodontics dental assistant duties
- All required certifications for dental assisting
- Ability to travel to multiple locations within a territory to provide orthodontic dental assisting services is required
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
