Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in your designated territory. You will leverage your sales expertise to drive revenue growth through effective lead generation, upselling, and territory management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and report on progress.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for market penetration and growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within a retail or similar environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Experience in upselling products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Familiarity with sales management principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability in lead generation techniques to build a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to manage a defined territory effectively while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM software for tracking sales activities is preferred.
