About the Sales Consultant Position

DGA Security, NYC's largest privately held security firm, is looking for experienced B2B Sales Consultants to join our successful sales team.

In this role, you will use a consultative approach to promote our technical products and customized services to a wide range of high-end / high-risk clients.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Generate leads through several avenues including : cold calling, email marketing, market research, referral sources.
  • Initiate outbound (cold and warm) calls to introduce products, create interest and qualify potential leads
  • Assess prospects by understanding their needs, budget, timeline and decision-making process
  • Speak with prospective customers to sell our Security-as-a-Service business model.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing communication with prospects, providing relevant information and benefits of products, and nurturing them through the sales funnel
  • Maintain accurate and organized lead databases using Salesforce.com to track interactions, status and progress
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in all phases of sales process.
  • Evaluate customer needs and collaborate with your teammates / management to identify the proper solutions based on our portfolio of products and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, installation, and products, with new customers.
  • Work with our in-house CAD team to create professional designs and deliverables to present to the potential clients.
  • Create follow up tasks, generate proposals and administer all facets of the account and the sales process utilizing Salesforce.com and alternate software for efficiencies.

  • 2 years of B2B full cycle sales within a major market.
  • Proficient listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and extremely self-motivated
  • Knowledge of the best sales techniques, professionally dealing with objections, and passing gatekeepers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Proactive in all your communications, internally and externally
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in your previous organization / s.
  • Willingness to establish your defined territory through virtual meetings and evaluations.
  • BA / BS degree preferred but not required.

  • Competitive base salary $80K - $100K, an uncapped commission structure.
  • First year all in guaranteed earnings of $115K - $140K.

    Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
