150,000 to $220,000 approximate total compensation.
3 days remote / 2 days in Bay Area

Must have :
- 2 years of professional engineering experience. Java, Python, or C / C programming languages would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with either AngularJS, Node.js, and / or JavaScript is a preferred.
- Preferred experience as Founding Engineer in a startup or small company environment.
- Full stack experience with focus on backend preferred.
Key responsibilities :
Product development :
Designing and implementing the core technology behind the product.
Iterating on features based on user feedback.
Technical leadership :
Defining the technical architecture and tech stack.
Making key technical decisions and tradeoffs.
Collaborating with the founding team to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Team building and growth :
Recruiting and mentoring other engineers as the team expands.
Establishing engineering best practices and processes.
Contributing to the development of a strong engineering culture.
Customer focus :
Gathering feedback directly from users to inform product development.
Understanding market needs and identifying potential opportunities.
Business acumen :
Contributing to product roadmap discussions and prioritization.
Understanding the business impact of technical decisions.
Salary : $150,000 - $220,000
