DGI Geoscience is looking for field based Field Geological Technicians to join our team! DGI Geoscience is a dynamic company specializing in geological, geotechnical & geophysical surveys and related services for mining, exploration, geotechnical and environmental applications. Responsibilities
The successful applicant(s) will be responsible to travel to our customers across the western United States and collect detailed surveys to advance the geological understanding of the property. This involves driving company 4x4 vehicles, setting up specialized equipment, acquiring data in the field, and conducting preventative maintenance, and working with the data. Additional responsibilities include preliminary assessment of data quality, application of QA/QC procedures and interaction with contractor and client representatives. We will provide full training, however once training is complete, the individuals must be comfortable working with limited supervision and knowing when to ask for help.
This person will be based in Salt Lake, working at client mine and exploration sites primarily in state, however travel out of state as well. The work is full time, however the schedule can change to meet our customers needs.

Requirements
· Mineral borehole/wireline logging experience desired
· Degree or Diploma in geology, engineering or other relevant STEM field OR Mechanical experience, especially in the mineral industry
Strong teamwork and problem solving skills
· Willingness to Travel

Pay: $65,000.00 - $86,167.86 per year
