Ideal Candidate:
Currently looking for motivated, initiative-takers who follow direction well and are eager to learn and grow alongside our brand. Responsible for handling customer service and operations for all import and export activities in order to meet or exceed customer service expectations while maintaining compliance with TSA, IATA, IMDG, US Customs, and all related government and industry standards. Responsible for ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while complying with any internal and external requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review Fleet/load/shipment planning (import and export) documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Assists other Coordinators with daily activities as needed
- Perform effective communication with customers, vendors and co-workers through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls and verbal contact or through facility visits
- Ensure that all emails and phone inquiries from customers are answered within 2 hours of receipt
- Handle all assigned accounts efficiently.
- Ensure that job-breakdowns, work instructions, SOPs and regulations are followed
- Performs Data Entry, updating logistics data.
- Performs Freight Audit and Bill Pay preparation.
- Conducts Shipment tracking & troubleshoot and resolve package delays
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICIATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of relevant work experience as Logistics Account Coordinator in related industry field, i.e. freight forwarding, packing, warehousing, logistics, transportation, etc.
- Knowledge or experience with hazardous materials a plus
- Experience with international trade and/or freight forwarding experience a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office; basic Excel required
- Advance Data Entry background preferred
- Knowledge of C2C software preferred
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects and tasks during the workday
- Must Successfully complete any IATA (International Air Transport Association), and IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods) training courses, within 90-days
- Basic knowledge of laws – DOT (Department of Transportation), IATA, IMDG, and other applicable regulations
- Knowledge of DOT and other applicable federal and state regulations
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)

WORKING CONDICTIONS:
- Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with occasional weekends and overtime as needed.
- Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting with standard lighting and ventilation.
- Regular use of a computer, telephone, and other office equipment such as a copier, scanner, and printer.
- Must be able to work safely and use all necessary PPE when navigating the warehouse.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work effectively under pressure.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high daily pressure to meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. occasionally throughout the shift.
- Prolonged sitting at a workstation with occasional standing and walking.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, and office equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Must have clear and accurate vision to read documents, labels, and work-related materials in both digital and printed formats.
- Ability to hear and comprehend verbal communication in person and through communication devices
HOUSEKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in individual workspaces and shared areas.
- Follow the company’s housekeeping policies and procedures during daily operations.
- Dispose of waste in designated bins and ensure materials are stored safely and properly.
- Report any unsafe or untidy conditions immediately to supervisors.
- Participate in periodic cleaning schedules as assigned.
