Description

Ideal Candidate is responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment and warehouse. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, electrical, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform regular inspections of warehouse facilities to identify maintenance needs
• Perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, to include, windows, doors, wall or parking lot repairs, etc.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed in the warehouse
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards regarding warehouse maintenance and upkeep
• Trim trees, cut yard, perform painting duties
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs (forklift, truck etc.)
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Assist other maintenance staff with larger projects or repair work when necessary.
• Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks in the warehouse and special projects
• Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the facilities or maintenance supervisor to support overall facility upkeep.

Qualifications

QUALIFICIATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2 years of working experience Performing Maintenance performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for working in a warehouse environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
• Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is a plus
• Have ability to Drive a Forklift 12k, preferred
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• High school diploma preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly for the duration of a shift.
• Works safely and uses all necessary PPE.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects.
• Ability to work prolonged and/or irregular hours.
• Must be able to work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to work through stressful situations.
• Must be able to navigate the warehouse.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday 6 a.m.- 5 p.m. Occasional Weekends and Overtime

HOUSEKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in individual workspaces and shared areas.
• Follow the company’s housekeeping policies and procedures during daily operations.
• Dispose of waste in designated bins and ensure materials are stored safely and properly.
• Report any unsafe or untidy conditions immediately to supervisors.
• Participate in periodic cleaning schedules assigned.
