DGR Engineering's wastewater professionals specialize in the design of collection and treatment systems for the wastewater needs of municipal, industrial and private clients. Typical projects include gravity sewer collection systems, lift station and force mains, mechanical wastewater treatment plants, and lagoon/constructed wetland projects.
Typical projects involve studies and cost estimates for improvement or expansion of wastewater systems followed by the design, bidding, and construction administration of the facilities that are part of the project.
Qualifications
We are seeking Civil Engineering graduates with a minimum of 3.0 GPA (MS preferred) with an emphasis in:
- Wastewater Treatment
- Wastewater Collection
Typical work assignments involve:
- Design
- Plan preparation
- Construction administration
- Construction observation
Knowledge of Excel and AutoCAD computer design software is desired.
Communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of clients are important.
Applicant must be willing to relocate to within commuting distance of Rock Rapids, Iowa.
