What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Clerk (Driver/Janitor/Handyman) position at DGZ Staffing?
Location: Airport
Description:
- Under the general supervision of the Corporate Office Director (CA), DP Manager (GA) or Plant Manager (TX), incumbent will perform routine pickups and deliveries, purchasing, minor handyman duties and custodian responsibilities, as needed. Must have a good driving record and auto insurance
- 1st Shift 7:00 am thru 3:30 (may change)
- Mon - Fri (must be flexible)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience (driver, handyman, janitor), preferably in a manufacturing environment, desired but not required.
3. “Can do” attitude.
4. Minimum of 3 to 5 years previous driving experience.
5. Possess a valid driver's license and clean DMV record.
6. Must be able to be insured through the company’s automobile insurance.
7. Basic computer knowledge.
8. Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and company personnel.
9. Ability to work with little to no supervision.
10. Ability to multi-task.
11. Must pass pre-hire and annual drug and audiogram screening tests.
12. Safe Driving Record; must provide proof of State driver's license and personal auto insurance.
