Our full-time team of dedicated staff, including 50 in-house skilled trades people, handle over 300 projects a year, providing us the expertise, resources, and experience to respond quickly and take charge of your damaged property efficiently.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for the final touches and details of construction projects, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in installing and repairing various wooden structures and fixtures. Your work will contribute to the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair trim, molding, cabinets, doors, windows, stairs, and other wooden fixtures with precision and attention to detail.
• Customize wooden structures and fixtures according to blueprints, sketches, or specific instructions.
• Take measurements, cut, shape, and smooth wood using various tools such as saws, chisels, planes, and sanders.
• Fit and assemble prefabricated parts to form structures and fittings.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work closely with other carpenters, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to carpentry (e.g., saws, drills, routers).
• Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute precise measurements and cuts.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to carpentry tasks.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Clean driving record required to be insured to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry with expertise in drywall installation and repair
• Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques and metal stud framing
• Knowledge of restoration industry practices is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship

Ability to Commute:

• Sparks, NV 89431 (Required) and surrounding areas within about an hour from Sparks office location.
