Key Responsibilities
- Review income and family composition documentation and conduct client interviews to verify eligibility for Public Housing assistance.
- Follow up with clients if additional verification information is required.
- Compute the client’s portion of rent.
- Inform the client about DHA procedures, programs, and services, and provide answers to any questions they may have.
- Maintain client database files, ensuring confidentiality of information.

- Expertise in reviewing, assessing and updating reports and documentation.
- Understanding of the principles of record keeping and records management.
- Proficiency in utilizing a variety of business software programs.

- The ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, or a related field
- Two (2) years of related work experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to obtain Rent Calculation Certification within six (6) months of hire
- Valid Texas State Drivers’ License required
