We currently are looking for a CMA / RMA to provide direct patient care under the supervision of appropriate staff in our Practices. Our MAs interact professionally and courteously with patients, families and their colleagues to ensure the highest quality care and patient satisfaction.
To support our delivery of quality patient care you will :
- Manage patient flow and room patients gathering pertinent information for the provider (e.g. gathering patient history, taking vital signs, specimen collection, blood draws, simple diagnostic testing, etc.) and prepping patients for office procedures.
- Respond to patient inquiries and prescription refill requests in a timely manner, and seeks assistance as appropriate in referring patient inquiries to the correct source.
- Uses the Electronic Medical Record and other computer and electronic based programs to provide safe, effective care and ensure accurate and appropriate documentation of clinical care in accordance with VRH policies and guidelines.
- Help out in a busy physician practice helping teammates with faxing, copying, and other administrative tasks as needed.
