BIG PICTURE :
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director, Creative Development to lead our creative expansion into new scripted genres. This is a ground floor opportunity to help shape the creative direction of Dhar Mann Studios, ensuring that our stories continue to captivate, inspire, and impact our global audience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital content landscape, a passion for storytelling, deep scripted experience and the ability to handle development from research to pilot execution.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME :
- Manage the development process from idea to final pitch, including research, ideation, creating formats, writing decks and bibles, outlining beat sheets and scripts, producing sizzles, and providing creative feedback
- Designing and overseeing a high-volume, high-quality development process for a digital-first production environment, ensuring effective management of multiple projects at various stages of development
- Source new innovative ideas, talent, and IP for development.
- Monitor trends and audience preferences to continuously improve the content and presentation of our new series
- Conduct research and analysis to support development and decision-making.
- Lead creative on new platform projects like podcasts and in person tours
- Ensure that all development projects are creatively aligned with Dhar Mann Studios vision and goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the industry
- Collaborate with marketing and distribution teams to maximize audience reach for each project
