Position: Hardware Tech (Desktop Imager)
Location: Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB) - 100% ONSITE
Duration: 6-8 Month Contract
Shift: NIGHT - 11 PM - 7 AM
MUST HAVES:
Shift Differential Pay for 11 PM – 7 AM shift (including hours under each shift) – SET RATES
Hours: Overnight shift – 11PM-7AM *May include weekend shifts*
Duration: Project based through October 2025, may extend longer
Job Summary:
The Imaging Technician is responsible for the execution and validation of desktop system images including post-implementation verification/testing, documentation and Tier 1 support of BIOS, OS, and related software to meet DoD and other requirements. - SH2 (6PM-12AM) PR: $27.61/hr. $4.57/hr (SCA PAY) (11 PM – 12 AM) 1 hour
- SH3 (12AM-6AM) PR: $28.68/hr. $4.57/hr (SCA PAY) (12 AM – 6 AM) 6 hours
- SH1 (6AM-6PM): 26.81/hr. $4.57/hr (SCA PAY) (6 AM – 7 AM) 1 hour

Job Summary:
The Imaging Technician is responsible for the execution and validation of desktop system images including post-implementation verification/testing, documentation and Tier 1 support of BIOS, OS, and related software to meet DoD and other requirements. Other duties incumbent upon the Imaging Technician include:
- Deploy a secure standard image for relevant environments / domains.
- Provide feedback regarding user and product requirements for systems solutions regarding technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Assist with audit and evaluation of the imaging process to determine costs and risks, supportability and scalability for desktop systems.
- Continuously evaluate the imaging process for opportunities to automate and reallocate effort toward innovation.
- Provide Level-1 support for IT for Windows OS Imaging; Deploy images for workstations and laptops
- Troubleshoot software/application related to imaging and desktop management
- Support Security patches and software upgrade surge support
- Perform backup and restore functions as it relates to imaging and desktop management
- Provide tracking assets issued for imaging
- Basic LAN troubleshooting skills/tools – TCP/IP, Trace-route, NBSTAT, PING, or other duties as assigned
- Follow standard IT processes and procedures.
