Strategic Communication Specialist

Here, you'll advance your skills to design, develop, produce, and advise on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports the Department of Defense (DoD).
As a communications spe cia list on our team, you'll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients. As a collaborator on all aspects of verbal and written communications, you'll author numerous products, including fact sheets, briefs, talking points, newsletters, web content, email messages, and so cia l media content.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- 3 years of experience with strategic communications and outreach, including stakeholder analysis and strategies, developing and overseeing content strategies for a wide variety of written products for various audiences, and working with and advising clients or leadership on messaging and products
- Experience translating technical, industry, or military concepts to a variety of audiences
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree

- Experience working with the DoD or military
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent relationship management skills, including interpersonal and team working skills
- Possession of excellent listening, observation, analytical, and problem recognition and solving skills
